We are working on orders received

orders), and through 4/20
(HT, Patterns, bobby pins/clips,
HV14 and speed orders). We
are working on skirt orders received 3/15-3/28. If you have an
order that needs to be shipped to you by a specific date, please
email us.
 Patterns
and Hair Twists, bobby pin sets, and HV14 (Nylon Crocheted Snoods) are
shipped within 4 weeks.- Allow
approximately 6-8 weeks for ready-made head veilings. We
are constantly trying to speed up this process. Check the New
page to find out our shipping status. It gets updated often.

If you need an
item by a specific date, we will try to work with you. Please email
us to make your request.
- Many First Class packages can take 5 days or more to arrive
- If you wish, you may add $4.60 to the shipping & handling charge, if
you want your order sent Priority (3 day) mail. This does not
increase the speed of the processing time.
- *During the holiday season, we especially recommend for
you to add insurance.*
We trust that you will be blessed and encouraged by the
selections you make. All of our custom made veilings are professionally sewn and
finished with heirloom sewing techniques. We ask you to email us if you are not sure
about your order. We will give you direction or suggestions for size, length, or
color. Each of our veilings are custom made for your order, so we ask that you
consider your selection carefully before placing an order. We are unable to take
exchanges or returns, since we
cannot resell them to others as easily. We have found that we cannot take exchanges
or returns on Hair Twists since they are not re-sellable as new merchandise once they have
been used.

Due to the inadequacies in the service of the post office this
past year, we HIGHLY recommend that all of our customers add insurance coverage
to their orders regardless of their size or value. We at SMHC cannot be
responsible to replace orders and items lost or damaged in shipping by the
United States Postal Service. Please add the appropriate amount on the
order form above. You may reference the USPS Insurance Guidelines at http://www.usps.com/insurance/welcome.htm.
Our post office has added the guidelines that for a package to be insured, the
package must be placed in a box or in a padded envelope. We are working
to meet their standards.
