Although hair is remarkably strong, it is also vulnerable to damage. In addition to the stress of normal life taking its toll, we are unsuspectingly causing additional damage in the everyday handling of our hair.

After spending years of experimenting and researching proper methods of caring for long hair, we recently discovered a very informative website called, The Long Hair Site.   On it you will find similar information to what we have presented here but from a slightly different perspective.  The binding of hair can be an extreme challenge if you have hair considerably longer than your waist.  Hair can be further protected by the procedure one uses to wear it put up rather than allow it to hang freely during daily routines.  This website is also very helpful in teaching how to bind and put up extremely long hair.  Many of the styles work well under a headcovering as well.
