Head Veiling Sizes

Our covering sizes are based on the width (depth) and length of the headbands. To find your length, measure your head from the nape of the neck around the top of your head. Then measure from your forehead to the back of the top of your head to find your head band width (depth). Each of the measurements below are only approximate sizes, so choose the veiling size that is the closest to these measurements. Keep in mind that Style 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9 head veilings are completely adjustable since they are tied behind the neck.

• Infant -4" deep and 14-16" around
• Toddler -5" deep and 18-20" around
• Child (Little Girls) -6" deep and 22" around
• Girls/Small Adult (young ladies, petite or small size woman) -7" deep and 24" around 

• Medium (medium build or average size woman) -- 8" deep and 26" around 

• Large (heavier build -larger heads)-- 9" deep and 28" around

Head Veiling Care

For the best care of your headveiling, hand wash it in cold water with mild detergent, and steam iron on medium heat. Our veilings can be machine washed, if they are washed with a small number of veilings or delicate items using a gentle cycle. This preserves the lace, trim, and heirloom sewing.
