we redesigned a simpler one without lace and decorative trim. This long hanging veiling
has a comfortable headband and ties behind the neck. It features a long flowing pleated

be made very small. It is made from top quality, 100% cotton. Solid colors are also
available in cotton/polyester blend.

Amish Heart-Shaped Bonnet - Style
No.4
This heart-shaped bonnet is a charming reconstruction of
an age-old tradition worn by the Amish. Its bonnet-style back has a distinctive heart
shape with delicate gathers forming around the headband. The botton of this bonnet can be
drawn in with ties to cover a bun or left open to let braids hang or hair hang long. It
features the traditional band that sits on the back of the head or a wider headband that
covers most of the head. This covering features matching ties that can be tied under the
chin, allowed to hang freely, or looped back and tied behind the neck. A very cute
covering on young girls.

Ruffled Caplet - Style No.5
This open band is very feminine and easy to wear. It is

front ruffle approx. 1.5" deep). It lays comfortably over the head and ties behind
the neck. It works well with hair in any style (up or down). It features button holes on
the underside of the brim to insert bobby pins or hair clips. Solid colors are made from

Pilgrim Coif - Style No.7
The coif was originally worn in Europe as an
undercovering to which long, flowing veilings were attatched. In America, it was first
worn by women of the Plymoth Colony in the 17th century. This covering is a scarf- and
cap-like combination that ties behind the head to bring in the fullness. It is very
lightweight and comes completely lined. Its comfortable and practical style covers well
and makes it appealing to country and simple lifestyles. Made of high quality poly/cotton
material.

Colonial Cap - Style No.8
This covering is a charming reproduction of the day cap
worn in Colonial America during the 1700's. It features a fully gathered bonnet attached
to a narrow headband with small, delicate pleated ruffles (approx. 1" deep) along the
front edge of the headband. Elastic in the back draws in the fullness of the bonnet and
makes it fit perfectly over hair coil, bun, or braids. A satin ribbon runs along the sides
of the headband and ties into a miniature bow at the top center. It sits comfortably on
the head and features button holes on the underside of the brim to insert bobby pins or
hair clips. An "American Girl" favorite of young ladies. Solid colors are made
from top quality 100% cotton.

Banded Snood - Style No.9
We've borrowed this design from the ancient Jewish snood
to make a comfortable and accomodating cap. Due to the comfortable design of the snood, we
have made one with a full sized headband for those who have enjoyed the comfortable bands
of Styles 1, 2, and 5. This one ties behind the neck as well. It features a unique
"pocket-like" crown with elastic at the neck to keep your hair out of the way on
busy days. A very comfortable and efficient design which is one of our family's everyday
favorites! Solid colors are made from top quality 100% cotton.

Jewish Snood or Cap with Ties -Style
No.10
This covering has two options featuring a
snood or "pocket" (variation A) or an elasticized caplike crown (variation B).
Variation A has a nifty pocket that holds your hair without having to pin it up, yets
affords the security of a narrow 1-inch band that ties behind the neck or under the chin.
The elasticized crown makes a pocket at the nape of the neck to keep your hair off your
neck and back. It will hold most lengths of hair. Made from heavier fabrics, it makes a
snug winter covering in colder climates; and from cotton, batiste or voile, it makes a
cool summer bonnet. Great for housekeeping, gardening, tending to babies, etc. Please
indicate variation choice when ordering.

Nylon Crocheted Snood - Style No.14

This is a delicately crocheted (fish net) silky nylon
snood with an elastic band that fits comfortably around the ears and hangs down over the
crown of the head. Snood pocket is 10-12 inches long and 7-10 inches wide to hold hair out
of the way and off the neck and back. For those with very fine hair it is helpful to wear
a plastic or fabric hair band with teeth beneath it to secure or anchor the elastic
around. Give it a special touch by weaving a satin ribbon through the first row of
stitches and tie a small bow on top. This snood does not cover the front of the head.

Lace Cascade - Style No.6
This covering is designed with folds of cascading lace.
Its layers flow freely down the back of the head, reaching the base of the neck, and hang
very nicely whether your hair is up or down. It can be worn attached to a barrette,
plastic headband, or hair comb, or secured to hair with bobby pins or hair clips. Its
lightweight construction makes it cool and comfortable. It is a very feminine, delicate
and attractive transition covering that has been enjoyed by newly veiled sisters and young
girls. It does not completely cover the top of the head. It is approximately 7" wide
and hangs 11" long.

Eyelet Doily - Style No.11

satin bow in the center. The circlet lays comfortably over the crown of the head. It works
well with hair in any style (up or down). It must be attached to hair with bobby ins,
comb, or hair clips. This does not cover the entire head. It is handy to keep at your
bedside or can be used as an under covering to which a long flowing tulle veil is secured.
Made from poly/cotton eyelet.

Pinner Caplet - Style No.12
This dainty, satiny circle is a reproduction of an early
American tradition down as the Pinner Cap. It was called this because hat pins were used
to fasten it to the hair on the top of the head. The Pinner Cap is approximately 8 inches
in diameter. It is edged with fully gathered lace and has a dressy appearance with its
satiny center circlet. This can be used for nightwear or as an under covering to which a
longer, flowing drape of lace or tulle is pinned. A wide satin bow pinned to the circlet
with its long tails hanging down the back of the head is adorable on young girls. It works
well with hair in any style (up or down). Made from polyester chintz and polyester lace.

women of the Colonial Period. This quaint covering is most often used as a night cap. It
