This darling, two piece design is a
box-type bonnet with a horseshoe brim. Its loose-fitting style is
cool in the hot summer months, but stays on well. It features one
inch eyelet ruffled trim on the front and back edges to accent the
fabric. The front ruffle is gently tabbed back with a tiny silken
ribbon rosette on the center front. It also has matching silk
ribbon ties. Adorable in Gingham with a contrasting rosette!
This cap is a simple yet striking style that is worn
close to the head. It has three delicate darts along the edge of the lower back that
enables it to fit the shape of the head. Its lightweight style is comfortable and stays on
infants better than most caps or bonnets. This works well for infants and small girls
since it can be made very small. Edging and ties are made from self
fabric binding.
This pilot cap is a simpler version of the previous style that is
worn close to the head. The darts are omitted making it a bit
closer fitting. It has the same lightweight comfortable style and
stays on better than most caps or bonnets on infants. this works
well for little fellows also to keep their ears and head warm in the
cold winter months since it does not have decorative
features. Cap with ties has outside edges finished with self
fabric binding.

This prairie bonnet has a large extended

This reproduction of the Martha Washington sunbonnet was
worn to church by women in the 1800's. It has been known in more recent years as the
"Hollie Hobbietm" bonnet. Its neck ruffle and delicate features make it distinct
from the common prairie bonnet. This all-purpose bonnet gives good protection from the sun
and works well for berry picking, gardening, and even weeding.
